Circular strategies such as reuse, repair, remanufacturing and recycling turn linear supply chains into networks of returning flows, with many stakeholders and a great deal of uncertainty. Existing models are often tailored to a single product or strategy. My research works towards generic, broadly applicable optimisation models that make circular supply chains both cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
