Vehicle Routing

Deciding which vehicle visits which customer, and in what order, is one of the classic problems of Operations Research and a daily reality for every logistics provider. My work develops exact methods and (meta)heuristics for vehicle routing problems with real-world features: routes for utility meter readers whose workload is uncertain, collaborative routing where several companies share a fleet, and picker routing inside warehouses.
